![]() Hello all I am so far behind on my laundry right now! People are starting to run out of underwear. I'm sure someone somewhere can relate to this.. Today I am implementing a laundry strategy. I am washing clothes by household member. I think this works very effectively for our family it cuts out the task of "the who does it belong to game." My next laundry strategy will be "how to not end up with a basket full of socks with no partners!" I make my own laundry soap to cut costs. Right now it is a combination of grated zote, borax, and super washing powder. I am looking for a mixture that is borax free, stay tuned. The mixture is liquid and one batch fills a five gallon bucket. We really try to save where we can. This mixture also doesn't irritate the skin of my smallest two who inherited my allergies and sensitive skin. (More on that later) What about you? What are your laundry strategies? Do you make your laundry soap or do you buy it? Back to the laundry grind! -Sudsy Sante

I am planning my own wedding with the help of my sister who is an event planner (how lucky is that?!) I love DIY projects, crocheting, football, and food! My sister and I are Pinterest addicts! Please stay tuned to our blog. I'm sure you will be able to relate to our stories and laugh at our misfortunes! We look forward to having you!! -Simply Sante ![]() “Watch Me Work” is an affectionate term my sis and I use to describe the process of getting A LOT done. For instance, my little one sleeps for approximately 1.5 hours daily. I have to ask myself, “What needs my undivided attention?” Today, it’s MDL-Me time, Dinner & Laundry. I strap the monitor my hip and attempt to “Get MY Life”. Me time is often skipped, due to the demand of D & L. Fortunately, I used the crockpot and made two meals Sunday. I also used a fluff and fold service for whites. Matching socks with a toddler is NOT fun. Hence, I have more ME TIME than usual. I attempt to GML on a daily basis using music and random phrases for motivation. WMW is also used when I try to squeeze in a workout. My toddler is generally at my hip watching MAMA work. These are the days of my life. Mimi Poppins |
