Top 6 Yummy Lemonade Recipes For Kids

To combat the heat in the summer season, all the kids need a cup of freshly squeezed and cold lemonade. Basically, lemonade recipes are easy and are delicious as well. They are the great hydrating tonic for children after play or school. But lemonade is not just made from lemons. Lemonade can be made with raspberry, ginger, strawberry, peach. Watermelon or almost any root or fruit you can think of. Here, I will share with you how to prepare or make a delicious glass of sparkling lemonade for your kid quickly. Let’s get started!


1. Simple Lemonade Recipe For Kids
Lemonade is cool, tangy, quenching and absolutely a cure for the heat-beaten. It also helps your kid reenergize after a hot and long day.
Get these:
- 4 regular-sized lemons
- Cold water
- White sugar
- Ice
Directions:
Firstly, squeeze the juice of 4 lemons in a pitcher. Later add some sugar, powder or grain, and whisk. Once the granules completely dissolve in the juice, sprinkle a little salt to taste. Then, add 2 mugs of cold water and finally, serve with ice. You can toss some slices of lemon in the drink to garnish it.

2. Hot Pink Lemonade
The color is often fun and when it is added to drinks, it will become twice the experience. Feed a glass of nutritious and cool glass of pink lemonade to your child.
Get these:
- 2 and ¼ cups of lemon juice
- Filtered water
- Blueberry pulp
- Sugar
- Ice cubes
Directions:
Firstly, pour sugar (two cups) in 1 cup of water and later collect this mixture in 1 saucepan. Then, place the mixture over the flame and bring it to a boil. Now stir it and keep the solution clear. To it, pour in freshly squeezed lemon juice (2 and ¼ cups) after removing from heat. Allow it to cool off while preparing the base with ice and cool water in a pitcher. After that, pour
in this mixture and ¾ cup of crushed blueberries with it. Whisk until the color becomes hot pink. Finally, serve in glasses with some ice cubes.

3. Blueberry Lemonade
Blueberries will make this recipe colorful, so your kid will love it very much.
Get these:
- Powdered sugar
- Cold water
- Lemon juice
- Blueberries
Directions:
Firstly, you mix sugar with water and boil until the sugar dissolves completely and the syrup thickens. Then, add that with the lemon juice and water. Add the blueberry puree when the solution cools off totally. Stir well and to separate out the dreg, run the juice through a strainer. Chill it up in one freezer and finally, serve with ice.

4. Strawberry Lemonade
You should give your child a break from smoothies and shakes, but don’t chuck the strawberries out of the diet. Your kid will surely like this recipe due to its color.
Get these:
- 1 ½ cups of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Crushed strawberry
- Water, freezer temperature
- Sugar
- Mint sprig for garnish
Directions:
Prepare 1 ½ cups of lemon juice and a yield from approximately six to seven medium sized lemons. Then, add sugar (a cup) to the juice and now volume it up with around 6 cups of cool water. Crush the strawberries in a blender and with the help of a sieve, filter out the seeds. Mix them up and then keep in your freezer to chill. After that, take a sprig of mint to spruce up each serving on top. Serve your little one.

5. Watermelon Lemonade
Watermelon contains about 90% of water, so serves as it prevents dehydration in kids very effectively. In fact, this recipe is suitable for everyone.
Get these:
- 3 cup of watermelon cubes
- 5 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 3 cups of ice cold water
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
Directions:
Blend the watermelon cubes at first and keep them aside. Next, add honey, salt, and lemon juice to cold water. Then, mix it well and to the lemonade, add that blended watermelon juice and mix well again. Finally, serve your kid.

6. Raspberry Lemonade
This recipe is also easy to make at home and is delicious as well. You kid will surely favor it this summer.
Get these:
- Fresh homemade lemon juice
- Bottled raspberry juice, blue in color
- Sugar
- Water
- Ice
Directions:
Prepare one cup of lemonade with fresh lemon juice, sugar and water. Later, pour in the ready-to-drink (RTD) blue raspberry juice (two tablespoons). After that, add ice and shake it up in one juice shaker. Finally, serve cool.
