![]() Greetings all! During nap time today for the little ones I am dedicating some time to planning my upcoming wedding in June. Time is in overdrive! I cannot believe it is already almost March. My two little ones turn 2 and 4 the first week of March. Usually around this time I am planning a party for sixty or more of our closest friends and I am stressed to the max! This year we are taking a family trip to the beach instead.. When I asked my three year old if it would be okay if we didn't throw a party this year and went to the beach instead her reply made me laugh out loud! She said "Mommy this year we'll go to the beach, next year you can throw me a party....Okay?" She is so grown up! Anyway, back to this upcoming wedding. The invitations to all of our out-of-state family have been sent out. Right now, I am waiting on those replies to give me a better idea as to how many of our in state family and friends will be able to attend the ceremony. We are on a budget, as most families of six paying for their own wedding. The theme for the wedding is 'rustic outdoorsy' as we are getting married outside in an orchard. (This is a very popular theme this season as two of my friends are also doing the same theme!) The bridesmaids are wearing Malibu blue and the groomsmen will be in khaki tuxedos. Today my goal is to establish contact with the cake designer and send my ideas so that we can get established. My ideal cake is white with Malibu colored lilies as decorations. Something similar to the photo above which is absolutely gorgeous! On the wedding checklist, I still need to finalize the processional music, contact the florist, oh and find a wedding dress! So far finding a dress has been a difficult feat. I don't like the traditional wedding gown. I am looking for a shocker that is still classy. Here are a few photos of my wedding inspirations, they were all found on Pinterest. What about you, was your wedding your dream wedding? If you could do it all over again what would you do differently?
Bye for now, Bride to be Sante
